Digital SLR
So as many of you know I enjoy taking pictures. A lot. In fact I even have a dream of one day being a photographer. But for now, I just like putting my camera to good use. A more immediate goal of mine is to acquire a digital slr camera. I have done a bit of research and have a few models in mind but if any of you have a digital slr that you adore please tell me what you have and why you love it (or don't love it if that's the case). It's likely going to be a while before I take the plunge and make the big purchase but you know me - I like to thoroughly research. :) So thanks in advance for any tips!

Natalie, I have the Canon Rebel XT SLR camera and I LOVE IT!!!!! It's the 8mp one, not the 10 (that's the Rebel XTi model) but it is wonderful! It takes so much better pictures than my old non-SLR camera and it's extremely fast. My biggest pet peeve with my old camera was that Jamison would be doing something incredibly cute and I'd press the button and NOTHING for like 3 full seconds... which is usually plenty of time for Jamison to quit doing whatever cute thing he was doing and instead turn his head so I can't see him. Anyways, I'm a huge fan! Email me if you have any specific questions about it.
