Help - I'm an idiot!

So, my blog is all messed up again and I'm an idiot. I should maybe just be banned from the computer because I clearly don't know what I'm doing. At all. I thought to myself, "Hmm...I should backup my block so I don't lose it like I did last time." And by attempting to do this I messed it all up again! And I didn't even get it backed up. Grr! So if any of you know how to do this, please let me know before I really destroy my blog. Or just go crazy. Either of these options is highly probable at this point. Sigh...

So, I was doing laundry today which requires an elevator ride in my life. On my way back from dropping off my loads I stepped into the elevator to find myself on what appeared to be a forest floor. There were pine needles everywhere! What on earth? I mean I can see if a few needles fell off someone's Christmas tree as they were taking it to the trash, but this much? And why, by the way, are they only just now taking their tree out!? It's almost the end of January for pete's sake! At any rate, I had to grab my camera and take a picture because I thought it was strange...

Oh no!!!

So as you can see I just made some changes to my blog. Well, in the process I also deleted some important information. I have spent the better part of the last two hours trying to recover links to all my dear friends' blogs and I am still missing some. So, if you're my friend and you have a blog, please email or post your link so I can keep reading about your life!

Look how cute Adam and Charlie look in their somewhat matching outfits!

This is the best! Charlie sleeping on my lap, Mimi sleeping by my side, a book in my hand, and I've even showered for the day! Success!

Mimi's just getting more and more cuddly. Today she ventured all the way onto the boppy with us while I was feeding Charlie. I love that she's getting so much more comfortable around Charlie (until he starts squirming that is...).

Happy Birthday to Me!

Yes, it was my birthday on the 16th and I am now 27. Yikes! These are the cds that Adam lovingly made me (he even stayed up until 4am to do it so he could surprise me). Do they look familiar? Maybe similar to another post not so long ago? That's because he created soundtracks for me to go along with my favorite series of books: The Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer. On her website (www.stepheniemeyer.com) Stephenie kindly lists all the songs that she would put on a soundtrack if she were to make one for each book. I mentioned to Adam (my resident music guru) that I would like to make them. So he took it upon himself to do all the hard work. And let's be honest, if he hadn't done it it never would have gotten done. I barely even know how to use iTunes. So when I opened the cds I was super excited. My first comment was "Now I need to put them on my iPod!" (Which translated means "Adam, I need youto put them on my iPod for me.") At which point Adam handed me my iPod and directed me to the playlists that he'd already created for me. What a great gift and an even greater husband!!!
