Welcoming Charlie to our family!

We went to our doctor appointment on Thursday, November 8th and my blood pressure was high so the dr wanted us to go the hospital so they could monitor me for a bit. Luckily we went home and finished packing our bags so we could take them with us! After being monitored for a while the dr decided to keep us there and induce us on Thursday (40 weeks, 1 day) rather than waiting until Saturday as we'd originally planned. They started me on Pitocin at 3:40pm and about 12 hours later at 3:19am on November 9th our little guy arrived. He was 21 inches long and weighed 8 lbs 15.9 oz - they told us to go ahead and call it an even 9 lbs. We named him Charles Adam Ferguson and will call him Charlie. We love him so much and are so glad to be his parents!

Here we are - the happy family!

And here we are with Dr. McMillan.

Adam is such a great daddy!

I'm so happy to be a mommy!

Adam stayed with Charlie while he warmed up. I, on the other hand, was busy getting stitched up.

Here he is a little later. A big yawn and look at all that hair! Adam and I were both pretty hairless so we're not sure where all this hair came from, but it sure is cute!
