So we're in Utah now. Actually we have been here for two weeks today. We had a fun trip visiting friends along the way but we were definitely glad to be done driving. Charlie and Mimi were little troopers!
Life has been crazy since we got here so we haven't even set up our computer yet which means I haven't uploaded any pictures. About as soon as we got our stuff unloaded from our Pod, we decided to paint so we've been living in disarray ever since. Hopefully in the next week or two we'll be a bit more situated.
My grandfather on my dad's side passed away this week so we'll be busy with funeral stuff this weekend. Grandpa just turned 86 two weeks ago. The sad part is he passed away before we got to see him. We were set to have dinner on Saturday but instead we'll be going to his funeral. Talk about regrets. I just wish I'd gone over last week. He was such a sweet and fun man. I miss him a lot already.
So for all of our Utah friends we haven't seen yet, I'm sorry. We should have more time starting next week so just email or call us so we can get together! Can't wait to see you!
And to our DC buddies, we miss you guys!

We didn't know you moved! It's probably great to be near family again. Sorry to hear about your grandpa. It's hard to lose someone you love.

SO Sorry to hear of your grandfather's passing!! Surreal to be at his funeral versus dinner. He's still watching over you-just differently.
