We went to Arlington National
Cemetery to watch the fireworks. They were pretty great except for the cloud of smoke that always seemed to be in front of them. :( It was a great night even with the rain that kept us huddled under our umbrellas for some of the night. One of our friends that we went with somehow convinced us that it would be faster to walk to a different metro stop than to wait in line so we ended up walking about 3 miles afterward. For some of us (me) this is a (very) long walk. But hey I survived!
